I primarily use this neck guard as a pencil holder. It is in a convenient position and is the correct size for an average HB pencil size.

The material is great and the velcro is strong enough to withstand tight fitting trombone cases.

At the edges the material looks like it is separating, but so far non of the stitching has shown any signs of breaking away.

It's a good guard for tenor trombone, but it wasn't suitable on the trombone that I buy for. The mistake was mine, but the quality is very good. Thanks.
