Thomann Gong Bag 110cm

I have a 44-inch Portal Wind Gong, which is extremely heavy, and this carry bag has made transporting it so much easier.

One of the challenges with a large wind gong is that, much like a cymbal, its edges are only around 3mm thick. When you combine those relatively sharp edges with the considerable weight of the gong, it can easily cause damage to anything it comes into contact with during transport.

This bag provides excellent protection, keeping the gong securely contained while also protecting everything around it. Despite the weight and relatively sharp edges of my gong, the bag handles it extremely well and feels strong and well made.

For me, though, the biggest benefit is simply how much easier it makes moving such a large, heavy gong around. What used to be quite an awkward task is now considerably more manageable.

I'm extremely pleased with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone transporting a large gong. As my gong collection grows, I'll definitely be buying more of these bags!
