Comfort for Swinging musicians
Stool arrived today - very promptly after only a couple of days all the way German to England. Impressive. Easy to assemble although the spanner provided was a little inaccurate, size wise, so I used my own. What I didn't realise when I ordered this item is that it 'revolves'. That seems to be a good idea although I have ONE reservation - the material covering the seat is obviously durable, and easy to clean, but is incredibly shiny and slippery. With shiny trousers on I could well see myself spinning and sliding off the stool if I get carried away with my guitar practice! A suede type of finish would perhaps have been a better choice, although looking at the other stools on offer, on the website, they do all seem to be similarly covered - except perhaps one, which appears to be leather, but double the price. Only time will tell whether I survive, or need a seat belt !!!!! Overall quality is as one might expect from Thomann - superb.

Super stool.
I wanted a tall stool with a sturdy base. This stool fits the bill. The assembly went smoothly, everything fitted together well but the instructions for mounting the swivel top could have been clearer (which way up does the bracket go?). The seat is thick and firm with a shiny vinyl cover. Most of this type of stool come with a swivel seat and that is the one thing I do not like. I would prefer either a suede cover or a fixed seat as it is a little slippery when I am perching! Looking at the alternatives from other companies I suspect they are mostly made by one firm and just the logo differs so at around half the price this is a very good stool, very stable and comfortable once I have perched!

very solid
these stools can be slightly tricky to put together, but afterwards they seem top solid to me.
what you want to do when you put the legs and the ring together is put the screws in only so far that they can grab and hold the thing together and when all screws are in, you tighten them up. that way it's really quite easy to do.

Great stool for the price
The stool offers great value on comparison to more common 'branded' guitar stools. I save a third of the price for almost the same thing.
Making the chair was easy and I had no issues with parts missing.
The padded seat might not last a lifetime, but solutions exists when thsi time comes around. Other than that, the chair is sturdy and you can swivel on it!

Good but a bit too tall
I am 5ft 11 and find the stool approx 2-3 inches too tall. Build quality ok. Cover had a strange mottled marking due to being stored in a damp warehouse I think!

a nice but tall stool unsuitable for people under 185 cm tall.
I like the stool quite a lot but I am 190 cm tall and I find it is still a bit tall for playing the guitar. Be careful about considering this fact when purchasing this stool. For the rest, it is nice, although Thomann's publicity is free for them.

Professional Guitar Stool! Good value for money!

Bought this to practice guitar, it's a good one. A bit too tall for my short legs though.
