Bought this in June 2025. I have been very happy with the instrument in all respects until earlier this week. On Monday the worm pinion wheel on one D string tuner broke in two with a loud bang, ended up with a gear wheel in two parts. I have never experienced this before, it must be a manufacturing fault, there has been no misuse. Have since discovered that machine heads for OM are hard to find, many outlets assume that mandolin is the same, this is not so, OM machine heads have a different spacing and are heavier. Maybe I've just been unlucky, but it's been a real nuisance, eventually found someone with a bit bin and a replacement post and gear wheel, otherwise I would not be playing tomorrow. A great shame, this is a nice instrument and I would otherwise recommend.

Výborná elektroakustická oktávová mandolína

Má skvělý zvuk, moc pěkné provedení, dobře ladí, elektronika funguje, jak má. Jsem celkově velice spokojená. Jediná drobnost: géčkové struny natažené z výroby sem tam hodně zadrnčí, nevypadá to ale na problém kobylky nebo pražců, budu zřejmě prostě potřebovat o trochu tvrdší struny kvůli svému stylu hraní.

Belle mandole ténor, ou mandoline octave, légère et maniable, stable de par sa forme quand on joue assis. Sa jolie rosace lui donne un petit air médiéval qui rappelle un peu la "mandore", son ancêtre, proche du luth. Agréablement surpris par le son clair et équilibré, avec une bonne longueur (sustain) et aussi un peu de réverbération, surtout dans les aigus, même en utilisation purement acoustique. La partie électro-acoustique fonctionne bien, avec ses trois réglages (basse, médium, aigu). Le bonus, c'est l'accordeur intégré qui permet de changer l'accordage ou de le réajuster rapidement, quand l'environnement ne permet pas de le faire à l'oreille.
Pour conclure, je suis enchanté par ma "mandoloctave" (nom que je lui ai attribué afin qu'elle trouve sa place légitime entre ma mandoline et mon mandoloncelle).
