Pretty good
I bought this bass as a second gig bass for pub and club work, where I feel my more expensive instrument is not always necessary or suitable. Also, I'm often at a gig where I might have to share my bass and I'd rather have a cheaper one.
The bass is very light due to the plywood which is a pleasant change. The dark finish is very attractive making it look elegant.
The sound is very big which was a pleasant surprise.
Unfortunately, I find the bridge to be extremely high and yet it is still somehow easy to play. It therefore has a big sound in pizzicato (I was wondering what was meant by "jazz" bass). However, I will have to get work done to lower the bridge because accurate and comfortable playing in thumb position will not be possible. Also, the risk for left hand pain with such high action has to be accounted for. With a slightly lower birdge I might've given this a perfect score.
I was also pleasantly surprised it came with a bow.
