Good Value
DIRTYFONK 26.06.2015
The 70mm thick foam works nicely in deadening highs and high mids - placed overhead and behind drum kit to deaden cymbals hats and maybe also the odd bit of snare top. Also created vocal sound booth which worked very well - very dead sound for a bargain foam slab !
Worth getting the 70mm over the 40mm a bit more expensive but more versatile (the thinner stuff probably only best on the ceiling) the price is still so much cheaper than pro alternatives. In my opinion they look quite nice too - they have a nice profile and another good attribute is that they are flame retardant.

PL
Great product for the price!
Phil L 06.12.2014
I ordered a couple of these to help build a temporary production space, and they work like a charm especially considering the very low price. If you are a home studio producer, look nowhere else. Of course you could go with more expensive options, but the question is, do you need to? For me, these were a good option since I know I'll have to keep my solutions modular.

very good product for this price range ! the disturbing reflections of sound have disappeared , I combine P-80 / N40 / N70 and i am very happy from the result : no dead room but no disturbing reflections .
I don't recomend this for fix the tone of your room ,doesn't work , contrary there is a chance to do damage to your tone if you overuse them . Only a few to the right spot of the room are enough.
good construction !
If you want .. with a scissor you can make different shapes , the enticing price allows experimentation for a beauty result on your walls.
By the way there is no smell at all !

MS
Thin and decompose in direct sunlight.
Mihai Sorohan 01.04.2018
Not bad... it's foam, and like all foam, if it's thin, it will absorb just high frequencies.
I had a sheet next to a window, to absorb the noise from outside and tame the reflections from the glass. After 3-4 months it started to decompose from the sunlight. It's back turned to a grey-brown dust. That dust could really mess up a microphone.

Cheap and easy!

Having spent money on 30cmx30cm acoustic tiles in the past I was very glad to come across these larger tiles. Much cheaper than working with the small tiles, and just as easy to work with, a total no brainer!

Does the job
MattWatson 02.06.2020
Can't complain too much, does what it says on the tin, only very, minor, slight thing is that the cuts are a little wonky, but that's if I'm being overly critical. Other than that, great product.

Did wonders for my bands rehearsal space. Cheap and effective acoustic dampening. Light weight and easy to mount.

Essential

These can be used to make mic shields for recording purposes at a fraction of the costs of professional shields. A 10L pain bucket can be cut up and covered with this foam and attached to the mic stand.

P
the most versatile acoustic absorbers
PauloP 18.04.2015
This panels can be compared to others that cost 10 times the price. they even can be used as basstraps.

I use these panels in my new potable vocalbooth, they absorve a long range of frequencies.

If needed, they can be used as bass traps, because they work well with low frequencies, which is unexpectef from a cheap acoustic absorber.

They are not the better looking panels aout there.

These panels are not flamable, they slow the fire. This is an very important aspect for the security of a studio.

Overall these are the most cost effectively acoustic absorbers in the market right now. I absolutly recomend these to everyone.
