Not good
This adapter is not good at all, used twice and then it ended in a drawer of my FOH. Cheap quality, move a bit when plugged. If you can, go for some neutrik ones !

Does what it needs
Not sure what you can expect from such an adapter but it works exactly as it's supposed to. Stable. Reliable. Feels very sturdy.

Sturdy and road-ready.
I ordered these to solve a problem. We were carrying a stereo Di box and XLR cables to connect our master keyboard to our iEM onstage splitter which are all balanced. A quick search of the manufacturers specs revealed that the keyboard outputs were actually balance TRS so I purchased these adapters and we now carry a little less gear and have a simpler signal path and therefor a shorter setup time. Thank you Thomann.

Its an adapter
This little adapter is a life saver, very useful item to have however one on them had a slight problem with the XLR fitting in but was quickly fixed by tightening up one of the screws, Very happy, would buy again

I don't like it pretty much
It has noticeable noise, and if for any reason it has to hold the weight of the cable connected to it I'm scared it's gonna snap. Maybe considering the price difference between this and more expensive ones it's not so bad, but seeing how I'm brought in a position that I need to buy better ones, they seem lacking to me

Very useful, very good quality...
Like the female version (1682), this is a very handy piece of equipment to have in your bag. It has gotten me out of trouble more than a few times. Good sound quality, good build quality.
