Faultless
I have a couple of these which I use regularly and think they are great. They give you all the adjustment options you could need, and hold position very firmly - not had one move on me yet! The only possible problem is the short boom arm. For me, I have Tama RoadPro cymbal stands with long boom arms too, so I simply swap boom arms if I need more or less length and that works perfectly for me.

Wouldn't recommend this
The metal clamp and boom arm themselves are good, quite easily adjustable and stable, but the quick set clamp that keeps the cymbal in place is rubbish. The little piece of plastic wears out quickly and after a while it will just pop off every time you hit your cymbal. I had to buy wingnuts separately just to keep my cymbals in place.
You're better off just buying a clamp/arm made fully of metal parts.

overall great, but...
It's generally a great boom arm, seriously. I use it for my trash stack cymbal. The only complaint i have is that a stack doesn't really fit in a sense that when you place a felt below and a felt on top of the cymbal, then the locking nut doesn't have room to lock. I ultimately had to "saw" one of the felt pads in half and then it fit nicely.
This isn't a major thing, just maybe a good option would be to ship it with one thick felt and two slim ones.

Comfort and quick mounting
I used GIBRALTAR SC-GSA before, but it needed to use both hands for mounting it on the cymbal stand. Only 2 degrees of freedom are not allowed to place the cymbal as I like. This is the reason for switching to Tama. Quick clamp and gearless tilter! I use it for mounting splash cymbals, and stacks! I recommend!

Great for splash cymbal
I use this Cymbal Boom Arm for inserting my splash cymbal. It is just the right length to get the splash between small tom and large tom. Tama's fast clamp system is easy to use and you can set up your cymbal in no time.

Fine quality
I found this cymbal arm to be of very sturdy quality. Not much more to it, really. Stick it to your hardware and call it a day. It works.
I also like the red accent on the plastic quicklock screw on top. Classy.

Tama does not disappoint!
Sturdy and sleek, easy to attach/remove your cymbal.
My first cymbal boom arm was a Tama one that I got over 12 years ago (still have it), and this one seems like it will last me another decade at least! 5/5

Because You're Worth It
Twenty five good years ago my cousin introduced me to Metallica. It wasn't my choice, so for the first couple of weeks he would melt my small teenager brain with my first ever metal music. Slowly but surely, I became a fan – like hundreds of thousands of kids around the world. Fast forward to this day, I'm a TAMA guy for life, giving finishing touches to my beloved Starclassic kit. TAMA is not just about quality, it's about beauty and grace. Uncle Lars would know.
