Locktight, be careful for your hoops
This is one of the best hoop attachments available, and it has enough strength to pinch a weaker hoop when you tighten it too much, so use it with care.
It will take the thinnest diameter of rods up to 12mm. max.
Most Tama rod clamps go up to 12mm, which is a factor if you want to clamp 12,7mm's (such as Gibraltar's): those won't go.
It's heavy, it feels bomproof, and knowing Tama: it is.

Just perfect!
Just the perfect tool if you want your accessories mounted anywhere. I have multiple clamps to attach accessories to boom stands but this takes mounting to a whole new level.
The clamp is small and can be left on in the drum's bag. (e.g. snarebag).
When I have to play standing up I use a high snare stand and mount a splash/tambourine/woodblock to the rim using the Tama Z-rods without the need for an extra stand.
First tought it might wobble a bit but it's really stirdy. This thing does not move.
