Pristine sound propagation
My collection of delays was missing a digital delay. Originally I had my eye on the Boss DD-8, but this pedal convinced me to dig a bit deeper into my pockets.
One digital delay is fine. Two digital delays and a 5-way rhythmic division selector in between? That's magic.
Frankly I would have preferred a knob for modulation instead of for tone. Why not give me a speed and depth knob while you're at it? I can live with a 3-way selector for the tone. Alas, for that I'll have to turn to my Carbon Copy.
Otherwise this is a near perfect pedal, offering stereo in & out, midi and expression pedal control.
This pedal offers nearly endless soundscaping capability. It's the Yin to the El Capistan's Yang.

Best Digital Delay you can own
Strymon products are extraordinary and this outstanding digital delay will bring you back into the 80's studios stacking delays to create incredible atmosphere. The V2 improves an already almost perfect pedal and the sonic and build quality are really top notch. It adds the magical Strymon touch to the dry sound of the guitar that is far beyond rational... just magic
