Overpriced Gimmick
Really bad materials. Hats off to Thomman. They replaced the first unit free of charge because the clip buttons weren't working correctly due to bad alloys. Works more or less OK depending on your amp/cab size. YMMV. Won't last, no doubt about that.

Not bad
Works well for many amps and is extremely useful for live applications. The usage isn't very intuitive and wouldn't really buy it at its current price, but still an innovative solution to a very crucial issue (directing amp sound to the musician)

Watch out for where the power lead goes
On my hughes and kettner the power cord goes in right where the amp rests on a strut, which makes the stand almost impossible to use. Shame really because with a different amp it would be great.

Great idea, but not very durable
The stand worked OK - not too stable in a gigging environment, but the quality of the strap material and the screws left something to be desired. After about a year of use the thing fell apart and I fixed it a couple of times until I got fed up of tightening screws and burning off frayed ends. In all, a cool idea, but the Fender tilt back legs are a much more stable option.

Exactly as cheap as i looks!
On the picture it looks kind of neat but i think the design is exactly as simply as it looks. That also makes the whole stand kind of hard to use. I could not use the stands because of the unstable design.

For big amps only?
Tried to use this with a blues junior, but didn't give much of a tilt. The longest setting on the black strap went over the top of the amp, but the second setting brought the tilt angle too shallow. Could have done with the red straps being longer, or the triangle itself being smaller. Pity there isn't a mini version.

Standback Ampstand
I really neat product that does it's job very well. However I must say that this is not the durable product. It has a tendency to come apart after a while and this renders it essentially useless.

Great Product
Reasonably well made, does what it says, easy to set up and use.
I keep it in my studio bag and use it when needed in the studio. I am able to hear my amp better and easier access the controls.
The only downside is that the amp never looks to secure leant over on it, but it hasn't fallen over yet!
Would recommend it to others.
