Great interface
It performs exceptionally well and has a low noise level. The line outputs are DC-coupled so they can be used for generating CV signals for modular synths.
The body is mostly plastic and has quite a sturdy feeling. The connectors are of good quality. All knobs feel well-balanced.
The headphone output goes slightly louder in one ear on very low volume settings, but this is hardly a problem for normal use.
The USB-C to USB-A adapter it comes included with is a bit flimsy. Iβve found using a proper USB-C to USB-A cable to be more stable.
The drivers are minimalistic and get the job done.

Excellent sound, great value for money; with minor adjustments, it would be perfect.
This SSL audio interface, the 2+ MKII, offers, in general terms, remarkable audio quality and is suitable for home studios that prioritize sound fidelity. Strengths: excellent, clean preamps (64 dB of gain, 116.5 dB dynamic range, and a 130.5 dBu EIN), allowing pristine recordings. For voice and podcast enthusiasts, the analog enhancement circuit, βLegacy 4K,β can be a significant advantage. It has two headphone outputs with good power and excellent sound clarity, versatile enough to support specific monitoring setups.
Points for consideration: although this interface supports high audio resolutions up to 192 kHz, the 32-bit format is Integer, not float. This means it does not guarantee the same dynamic range protection against clipping as 32-bit float recorders or interfaces, so gain adjustments during recording are still necessary. The meter, while adequate, only displays input signals and does not show recorded signals played back via USB. Latency is good for direct monitoring and recordings, but less optimal for round-trip scenarios or real-time performance setups with live processing.
If these issues were resolved, it would be a perfect audio interface, but as it stands, it is already very good. Definitely recommended.

Overal great card
It is not RME, but still it is quite good. Solid driver behaviour with my crappy Win10, so I have to recommend it. Honestly, overall great card, the only minor thing for me is the design, it is great but SSL knobs are not my favourite.

Best I've owned (so far...)
Really great Audio Interface from SSL, I've owned a few now from Focusrite, EMU, and Apogee and in my opinion this one is a step up both in build and sound quality. It's well designed and a real pleasure to use.

Very intuitive, high quality interface, with fair speeds
So the latency is fine, the quality and construction are very good and the independent headphone outputs are great for when you are working or recording with another person.
There is no noise and the knobs on the face of the interface have a nice range and are a joy to use. All very analog feeling with the gain/clipping indicators and knobs on the face of the interface. Also the routing buttons and so on. Would buy again.
