great for bass!
This is truly a high quality patch cable! The jack connections are very sturdy and the extra shielding ensures you won't have any interferences whatsoever! The thicker cross.section translates in a better transmission of the lower frequencies, that will simply disappear with thinner cables. It won't boost your lows, of course, but it ensures a more linear sound. So, it's great for bass, and other instruments, of course.

Solid as a rock
These patch leads are great for pedals with rear jacks next to each other. Perfect length and they just feel so much more solid and re-assuring than others.

Perfect for jumpering SLP-type amps
Like everything Sommer, it's built like a tank and despite its size, it feels rugged and not cheap. The length is perfect if you want to jumper your 4-input amp (I use it in my Marshall SV20H). The straight jacks mean you have no awkward cable jungle or L jacks covering your remaining inputs.
However, like everything Sommer, it's bloody expensive for what it is. Still, it's a purpose-made cable, so it is what it is. If you just need a simple patch cable, buy something else.

signal/volume loss
maybe just mine is defective, but the one I got is significantly quieter than any other patch cable I tried it against. Back to Thomann it goes.

Good quality patch cable
It has a very good quality, but if you are looking for a patch cable for pedals it's better if you buy an angled cable.

Excellent!
Good for pedals who have in and out jack on the top of the pedal instead of the sides!
