I love this chunky riff machine

As a Solar fan, this guitar does not disappoint! It is well made and easy to play. I've never had an Explorer-style guitar body before but this is very comfortable to play. The bevel where the right arm sits means the guitar doesn't dig into you. The guitar is reasonably heavy but in a reassuring way, solid and chunky. As a fan of thinner necks, while this is by no means thin, it is not too fat either and sits comfortably in the hand. The Fishman Fluence pickups are fine, although I will swap them out for EMGs. The natural wood finish is very attractive, however I know from another Solar own that it dings pretty easily. All in all, I totally recommend this guitar.
