i have installed this pick up on my les paul, after reading that it is one of the most popular pick ups by SD (also used by Adam Jones). I love it, it sounds crunchy and middy. A lot of growl, but can easily clean up of the volume is rolled back. Like all SD I am confident it will still be functioning after I die. This is the version with 4 connectors, that I recommend

Rich tone, and distortion friendly

Very beautiful tone, with a fair amount of highs for a humbucker. However it sounds best in my opinion with some distortion on it, this is where this pup really stands out.

Incredible pickup. I put it in a Squier Strat with single coils to make a HSS Strat setup. It sounds so big and rich. I would like to get this for other guitars I own
