Excellent amp clear, adds no tone of its own, great for pedal pre-amps.
I use this as my main bass amp. It is very clear, adding no tone of its own, great for using my Broughton Audio Sv-pre and Fliptop pre-amps and for using IR's. Even better you can bypass the EQ, allowing your pedals to have total control. Brilliant as a stand alone amp, but perfect for pedal tone shaping. I also like the look and feel of the knobs, smooth with center detent. The mids have variable frequencies allowing a lot of control just from the amp itself. For me, it is the perfect amp and paired with a FRFR cab, allows me so many options to sculpt my sound, or just play my basses with their unadulterated sound.

Plenty of power in a tidy package
Since I'm mostly playing covers and various flavours of blues/rock/metal, I wanted something fairly transparent so I could get most of my tone via pedals. This does that very nicely!
