I bought as a replacement for an ageing Neumann RSM191 and is ideal in that role. It's got very low self noise and extremely well balanced sound with a smooth top end. Stereo image at 90 degree (narrow) setting drops into a mix with no adjustments needed and it has low handling noise. Difficult to see how it can be improved really.
