Great bag for gigging bassists

I'm a gigging musician who frequently travels by public transport and bicycle. I typically travel without an amp, and I wanted one heavy duty bag with enough storage for all my gear. This does the job very well. It's comfortable enough for a long hike, and it's not too bulky to bike with. It easily fits all my tools, cables, strings, music, iPad, and even a guitar stand. I particularly appreciate the handles on the front and the back and the hook for hanging it in a closet. The trade off, of course, is that it's over 4 kg empty.

A solid gig bag!

The Sadowsky pro bag is a solid gig bag for commuting musicians on the go. The build quality is good and it's not too heavy.

Habe einen Sadowsky NYC und wollte gerne das passende Case haben. An sich ist das Case nicht schlecht, es ist nicht zu schwer und liegt auch gut am Rücken an.
Aber: Die Reißverschlüsse sind dünn und billig, die Sorte wo man genau weiß, dass nach 5 Monaten alles nur noch harkt. Das Plüsch im Inneren wirkt wie direkt bei TEDI gekauft und eingeklebt. Sorry, aber für 199€ erwarte ich eine bessere Materialauswahl. Es bleibt insgesamt dieses Billo-Gefühl zurück bei dem Case, auch die Karabiner die man in die Gurte hängt usw., nicht bester Standard.
Habe das Case zurück geschickt und bin jetzt mit meinem Mono Vertigo Bass Case sehr zufrieden , die haben unter anderem wesentlich bessere Reißverschlüsse.

Preislich gesehen liegt das Gig Bag im oberen Segment. Die Features aber auch. Überzeugt haben mich die dicke Polsterung, die Auflage für den Hals sowie der Tragekomfort: Ob an irgendeinem der drei Handgriffe oder an der abnehmbaren Rucksackgarnitur - stets liegt das Gig Bag gut ausgewogen in der Hand / auf dem Rücken. Der Außenbezug scheint unverwüstlich und absolut wasserdicht; die Reissverschlüsse laufen ohne Haken durch und sind stabil. Auch wenn das hier nicht extra beworben wird: Man muss das Bag nicht unbedingt hinlegen um den Bass zu entnehmen oder verstauen, es geht auch ganz einfach im Stehen ("Toploading" wie es die Firma Mono Case so schön nennt). Das Gewicht könnte ein Minuspunkt sein, das sollte jeder für sich entscheiden - mich stört es nicht.
