Highly recommended especially for jazz bass

Use these on my jazz bass. So far these are the best in terms of providing a versatile sound that ranges from a full vintage to a modern sound. Also good for slapping. Overall great strings, easy playing, nice feeling on hands, durable. Highly recommended especially for jazz bass.

Excellent but....

I liked these. On my fretless, well I had to try them and wasn't disappointed. They change a lot in sound over time, less boinky, nothing unpleasant happens just get duller and duller. They did seem to die sustain wise a little bit eventually after a few months.

Never tried them before,but very pleased with the sound.
I have tried various strings before and most of them were too bright for my taste. They have have a bright tone but not too "clank-clank" that is still somehow "warm".
If you want a more oldschool hard rock/heavy metal sound (late 70s early 80s) it's the perfect choice.
