Great for Strat and Tele but not for SG
I've bough this case to carry around a Stratocaster or an SG when gigging. The product info says that it is for "for double cut models" but the SG does not fit with half a centimeter due to the strap mount. So, I had to buy another case for the SG.
Otherwise, the Stratocaster fits like a glove. The plastic looks cheap but strong and thick enough. Good enough for the price. And it has so many latches that even if one of it breaks it is not the end for this case.
The compartment is not big but this is not a big case. If you are searching for a bang for the buck hard case with small form factor to protect your guitar at home or for small trips to a rehearsal or gig, search no further.

good quality and affordable
It fairly humid where i live so i don't like leaving my guitars out in open air when im not playing them, and i also wanted something that would give good protection if i have to take my guitar to my friend's for a jam or something, so i decided to give this case a try for my Strat - I have to say it does deliver! It's a hard case, and it is hard enough to give good protection against knocks and such. It has a soft interior plush lining so you know it won't get all scratched up when inside the case. If you're using it for a Strat, my Strat fits like a glove - perfect fit! It has 6 latches, although the latches do feel a little flimsy, i think it's the type of plastic they used, (thats the only reason i gave a 4* on quality) but it does have 6 of them, so it should still stay tightly closed even if you lose 2 of them. Im pretty sure there's better hard cases out there, but if you don't want to go into the £100/E100 mark, it's worth the money. All in all, if you want an affordable, good quality case to keep your sacred instrument safe while at home, or for taking it to a gig or a jam this case will do the job!

Excellent value hard case!
I bought this case for my Fender American Special Stratocaster, I wanted a shaped case as it is much easier to transport than a full size rectangular one, the guitar fits perfectly and I have been using it frequently travelling to and from rehearsals and I am very impressed with the quality of the case, it still looks brand new! I have taken it in cars, on buses and trains and it hasn't let me down, the handle also feels very sturdy. It's also great for keeping your expensive guitars in the house as problems such as dust getting onto the body or accidental damage which could ruin a guitar. This case is ideal for anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive electric guitar hard case that is fairly light and easy to transport and that will stand up to the wear and tear of daily use.
I would definitely buy another from Thomann when I need another hard case because of the great value and build quality.

Superb value
Bought in 2023. Been using it a lot for over 2 years in all seasons and weathers. Fits my Sire S7, Yamaha Pacifica and Ibanez GAX well, and some unknown Jaguar copy (tight, but it fits). It's a strong case, doesn't scratch easily and the scratches don't show up well either, the plastic isn't going to win any beauty competitions but it serves its purpose. All 6 latches are still in good working order even after I've sometimes forgotten to close one or two of them. This case has taken a lot of dings and bangs but they've left no deep scratches. As far as cheap cases go you'd be hard pressed to find a better one.

Does the job, especially for the price
Bought it for my tele just before we left for tour, and I wanted to have my guitar protected on the plane, buses, venues etc.
Up until now, it does the job great, the guitar fits like a glove (still I am cautious, not throwing it around or anything).
The plastic does look a little bit on the ugly side, but it seems durable and sturdy. Overall a good buy!

A good product so far
a fairly well made case, i bought it for a Fender Stratocaster and it does the job. the case has more than enough latches on it - more than my epiphone case - and it closes tight. it also has that built in compartment on the inside to keep some of your stuff. The only reason that i didn't give it five stars is that the guitar moves around a bit. The sides are snug but the top and bottom is a bit too high. Probably beacuse the Strat is a fairly flat guitar and the case is made for a variety of models...

Yes.. this is what you're looking for.
This is a great case for such a little money. It's light, solid, very good quality (all locks work perfectly) I use it for several different guitars. I play gigs and teach so I carry this around all the time. I recommend this to my students instead of soft bags. It has a nice look and again... very light weight !

Rockcase ABS 10406 BSH
Sturdy exterior. It can stand upright stably. Latches (6) and handle look OK but I would be gentle on them. There is one lock (two keys). Both my Tele and Strat fit very well, snugly, and do not move once the case is closed. Overall, it is not a huge case, which I like. I feel I could ship the guitar on a flight with this.

cool case
I always prefer this shape of case for my guitars.
It's well priced and its solid enough to move this in and out the trunk of the car or carry away on foot, cause its lightweight.
After a few years this is about the same as I got it. The hinges are a bit fragile but ok, and one of them become a bit on the lose side (it opens too easy..but I've managed to keep an eye on that one and it's fine).
The plastic is good enough for everyday use, and light enough to carry around in and out of gigs and rehearsal rooms. Attention -this is not heavy duty airplane grade stuff.
As long as you keep that in mind you'll be happy with it for a long time. the price is just right for what it is and for what it does.
