Great Strap!
I used to have a vintage strap (slim strap, with shoulder pad) and found that to be very uncomfortable with a slightly heavy guitar.
This strap is of great quality (which I was not expecting due to its price), super comfortable (it distributes the weight of the guitar very well), but it is a little bit stiff, (but it's natural leather, after a few weeks it softens), and quite long (I'm just 1,75m, and had to cut it to size).
Anyway, this is a great strap, I can tell from the quality that it is going to last a long long time. I recommend it a 100%.

Robuster Ledergurt mit Potenzial fürs Leben
Ich bin insgesamt absolut zufrieden mit diesem Gitarrengurt. Das Leder ist schön dick, robust und macht den Eindruck, dass es bei guter Pflege ein Leben lang hält. Lieber habe ich einen anfangs etwas steifen Gurt aus dicken Leder als einen, der von Anfang an weich ist, dafür aber schnell ausleiert und sich die Löcher weiten.
Was man allerdings wissen sollte: Die Innenkanten sind ab Werk recht scharf und wurden nicht nachbearbeitet. Dadurch können sie am Hals etwas einschneiden. Ich habe die Kanten deshalb mit einem scharfen Messer rund gearbeitet und die überstehenden Lederfasern entfernt. Anschließend Lederbalsam bzw. Lederfett aufgetragen.
Zudem habe ich davor den Gurt über einen Wäscheleinenpfosten gehängt, eine undrehung aufgerollt und kräftig in beide Richtungen durchgearbeitet. Dadurch wurde das leder geschmeidig und trägt sich jetzt richtig angenehm.
Wer bereit ist, dem Gurt am Anfang etwas Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken, bekommt dafür einen äußerst robusten, rustikalen und (vermutlich) langlebigen Begleiter.

Genuine Leather
Right out of the box, this strap seems to be of very fine quality leather. It's pretty thick so I assume it will hold up for a long time.
Since it is very malleable, you should consider using strap locks right out of the box to avoid wearing out the holes.
With time, the smells gets less intense and the strap looks even more beautiful since I bought it two months ago.

This strap is fantastic. The leather is of excellent quality, comfortable, and seemingly durable enough to remain functional for many, many years. I recommend it.

Excellent quality for a reasonable price
A strap is a simple but very important piece of equipment that should be comfortable, easy to use and if possible look good. The Richter strap ticks all those boxes! The leather is a bit stiff and takes time to get used to, but softens up after a while. The only negative I can think of is that the strap is very long. I am a pretty tall guy but still had to set it up so that a pretty long tail was hanging off. All in all a good product, good quality for the price.

It was my first leather strap. The quality of the leather is great. I am satisfied, except it is a bit long for my height (I'm 169cm). I know I should use an other hole on the strap to make it shorter, but I don't really find estetic that way.

Very durable
The leather is very thick but is sharp around the edges. It cuts into my neck. No need for strap locks though. It is very safe.

Old school charm
The simplicity of plain leather is a winner. This strap is super comfortable, it looks great and goes with any stile of guitar. A timeless classic.
