One of my favourite strings
I first tried Pyramid Nickel Classic Special 010-048 strings to soften the sound of a too-bright guitar. I fitted a Pigtail lightweight alimunium wrapover to my 1991 Gibson Les Paul Junior and found that although the guitar sounded much more lively it was far too bright when strung with my usual D'Addario nickel plated strings.
I decided to try these pure nickel strings to see if they would soften the sound and they certainly did the trick. The guitar sounded much warmer, although still with plenty of treble and in addition the strings themselves feel much softer to play, bends are easier and the whole feel of the guitar has improved.
I've used these strings for about eight years now and wouldn't go back.

Good quality form germany for little money
I tried several Pyramid Strings so far and I just got disapointed once: That was, when I got obviously an old set of strings. That brings me to the only deficit: The strings are not vacuum packed. Sound an duration are great. But as it is always with strings, it depends on the guitar. I like these ones on my Les Paul and on my Strat, but I think these ones work a little bit better with Les Pauls and the blues ones a bit better with Strats. I think you can find the perfect Pyrimd for your guitar.

Lasting sound
These strings are by far my favourite, and the sound lasts forever. They have an instant vintage vibe to them (maybe because of the round core?), and they seem to keep the sound a lot longer than most other brands I've tested, which is quite a lot. I also use an American brand with round core, but they tend to break faster than the Pyramids, so mostly I string my guitars with these now.

Very stable
When I was searching for a new string set I found a comment: "After reading how ToneQuest Report uses these in their most discriminating tests, I had to try them. Now, months later, they continue to sound as good as the day I put them on. They will have to break or come unwound before I will replace them." It helped me a lot and I ordered them. It was a good choice, so highly recommended!

Sound great, not best durability
Sounded great for about two weeks, but then started to lose sound very fast so I had to change them. Would use them for studio, the sound was that good.

On a strat
I wanted a 10-48 gauge for my strat. These strings feel nice to play and last as long as the other i used
