Sehr gute Saiten

Nachdem ich diese Saiten in einer anderen Stärke für meine Les Paul gefunden habe und dort hoch zufrieden mit dem ausgewogenen Klang bin, habe ich sie testweise für eine Strat genommen (Vintage Fillmore). Auch hier überzeugen sie mich sehr. Klang, Sustain, Haptik, Stimmtreue: alles sehr gut. Mit den Wilkinson Singlecoils bringt die Saite einen guten Mix aus klaren Höhen, saftigen Mitten und knackigen Bass, sehr ausgewogen. Für Clean und Bluesrock für mich Perfekt. Als Saite für das schwarze Ende aber sicher nicht erste Wahl. Sehr angenehmes Spielgefühl und gute Haltbarkeit. Werde sie wieder kaufen. Sind aber teurer als die ähnlich guten Fender Nickel-Platet-Steel. Aber wenn das Monel länger hält ist es das mehr an Klang allemal wert.

If you like the sound of old dead strings, this is for you!
Compared nickel round wound strings this sounds really muddy.

Its great for older rock and roll. but for anything modern I would go for the regular strings.

There's nothing wrong with these strings, their just not what I was looking for.

If you are after vintage tones you really should try these. I have tried propably every strings made, these are the best. Be sure to install round core strings properly that the wound ones won't go dead.

Ab sofort einer meiner Standard Sätze

Was anfangs ein wenig skeptisch, ob das für meine doch eher härtere Spielweise ist, aber der Zweifel hat sich nach dem ersten Ton beseitigt. Schön ausgeglichen und auch jetzt gut einen Monat später klingen sie immernoch wie am ersten Tag. Schön ausgeglichen,
Outputtechnisch geben die Saiten auch gut was her und für den Preis absolut unschlagbar.
Wird DEFINITIV wieder bestellt!
