Great case for a great price
This Protec case has proved to be a safe way to carry my instruments. And in fact has proved to be even more versatile than I'd hoped for when I originally bought it.
It has safely carried my long model Bach Strad Bb cornet, but has also on different occasions proved a safe home for my Schilke C cornet and my Yamaha Custom C rotary trumpet which was a real bonus. There's a pocket on the outside for mouthpieces/oil/extra tuning crooks (in the case of the rotary trumpet).
All in all this case has proved to be a safe, lightweight, protective and inexpensive way to carry my instruments.

Perfect for my Long Model Cornet
I'm so pleased with this excellent case for my Long Model Cornet. It is also suitable for short model, shepherds crook brass band cornets and comes with extra padding for those. I have a Protect triple gig bag and have always been happy with it. I knew what good quality bags and cases they made. Choosing this one was a natural choice for me but I still researched them and read reviews. No one had anything bad to say. All positive and everyone was pleased with theirs.
There's very good padding inside a tough hard but light case. My cornet is well protected. Spaces for two mouthpieces and an outside compartment with room for bits and bobs. Carry handle is very good and the detachable shoulder strap is great.
All in all a fantastic case. Would recommend to any cornetist.

Good solid robust case
I bought this to replace the hard case that came with my Carol Brass cornet. My first impression is this is a very well made and robust case. It has 2 mouthpiece inserts and a descent sized pouch on the side with smaller pockets inside it. It came with a strong shoulder strap with nice heavy duty clips. There is also an optional backpack strap which I purchased, this can be added and removed easily and works well. THe cornet fits very snuggly and the case appears to offer very good protection. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Great little Gigbag
As with all Protec cases this one is well built and does exactly what it says on the tin! No room for carrying mutes but the pocket on the side takes all the oils and bits & bobs we as brass players require. I also have a Protec Trumpet/Flugel Combo, and a Protec Double Trumpet case and all are as good as each other. Granted they are not cheap but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. The hard inner shell combined with the canvas outer offer a good level of protection which is not compromised by extra weight.
Overall as with all Protec kit, you won't be dissapointed!!

Protec PB312 Cornet Case
After 16 years ownership of a Protec trumpet case (which is still in fantastic shape), I purchased this new style cornet case in November 2013.
The quality is outstanding, and the protection offered is superb, with at least 1" of medium-hard sponge/foam to all internal sides covered in a soft fibrous material, the case also has very hard and extremely stiff thin walls (fibre-glass or wood ?) covered in a tough and thick nylon outer material.
My 1920's American long cornet, 15 inch overall length and a few inches taller than a modern trumpet just fits in perfectly (any longer and it would likely not fit). My English short cornet also fits in great, as is, the bell on both of these cornets gets held firmly in a foam slot, but will benefit from my own 2 inch foam block to butt up against the rear shepherd's crook bend on the shorter cornet.
Side pocket will take a straight and plunger mute.
An absolutely great case, and outstanding customer service from Thomann (1 1/2 day courier to the UK, and great packaging) !!!

Great Cornet Case, expensive but worth every penny!
ProPac make great products, this item is no exception and although it is a little pricey, it will look after your instrument very well.
I no longer play Cornet but my son does and this case has stood the test of time between lessons and rehearsals.
It has ample room for most makes of Cornet and a few small accessories but don't expect to carry a mute as well. You do need another case for them. Nothing's is perfect after all.

Great Case
A really great case. Bought as zip on old case had broken. One year with this one and no signs of wear on case at all, great quality, holds cornet securely, holds an A4 music file comfortably (top part of files does stick out, so you just need to check that it doesn't fall out but I have had no problem with it).
In conclusion: a good, sound and protective case which will also hold your music. Only downfalls are half of A4 music file sticks out and there is no room for mutes in case, but pro-tech do a special mute case.
Would really recommend!

I tried!
loos a superb , lightweight item , unfortunaltley post logistics have let me down several times . SO NOT RECIEVED. I am trying a new approach now. U.K. STANDARD ADDRESS , AND I WILL PAY ANOTHER LOT OF POSTAGE . SO I THINK I QUALIFY FOR THE DRAW. Even just for loyalty and persistence.
