A must have for the domestic player
Got it a week ago, didn't have enough time to check all its features, but as far now, I am completelly satisfied with this little beast. Sound is quite good, not as artificial as other digital amps in mu opinion. It is great also to connect it to the phone and play along the backing tracks or original songs.
AI is also amazing, although didn't check all its posibilities yet.
Woukd buy it again, it will completelly soon replace my beloved Boss Js10.
I woukd say it is the perfect partner for the domestic player who wants almost everything, easily and with a little space available.

Modern magic
I purchased the Spark Go a little while back before I purchased the Spark 2. Such was my delight with the Spark Go I knew I had to purchase the Spark 2. Bigger, Better, Louder right?
As always, quick Delivery from Thomann Germany to the UK
The Spark 2 is very well packaged. A nice sturdy box supported with extra bracing for protection. Everything is packed nice and tight.
Thomann also provides the UK plug as all their electrical items have the European 2 pin. This was ideal, I didn’t have to enquire about this which is fortunate because I didn’t even think about the plug differences.
I ordered the Pearl version of the Spark 2. My home furniture really decided this. I already had a position earmarked for where I was putting the Amp.
The pearl is just a slightly off white and with the gold trim this looks very modern.
Once removed i positioned and plugged in. The only paperwork instructions you receive is a quick guide that informs you of the Spark App that you must connect to. All quite straightforward if you use a smart phone or tablet. You also receive a carry strap.
Once connected and switched on the App updates all your firmware for the spark and brings it up to date with all the software updates.
Easy enough to switch on and if you have experience with amps it’s generally set out the same.
There are 8 presets already stored ranging through clean to extreme. These presets can be changed to the sounds you prefer which you will do as you progress with the Spark 2.
On first playing impression, this amp sounds brilliant. A perfect home practice amp. It’s 50 watts of power but not 50 watts of 12inch speaker power. You won’t really be able to practice with full drums, cabs etc but you would be able to perform in an open mic type thing. Don’t be fooled by the small nature of the amp, it does give some great punch and is very loud in the house.
Through the app, all your choices of sounds will give you a good response from the Spark 2. They are also fully adjustable with all the knobs on the amp itself, kind of a stand alone amp albeit limited to the 8 presets.
With the Spark 2 it opens up more of the Spark App, you have a looper, groove jam, tuner and much more. It has line out, aux, headphone, usb-c, I’ve had it a few months now and still haven't opened its full capabilities. I don’t actually think I am clever enough to understand it fully. A modern hub of modern tech.
It has great build quality. Every button and knob feels heavy duty, designed and built to last. Just like most stage amps.
I would recommend fully for the hobbyist and very much so for beginner. It will certainly have you hooked knowing that you can just ask the app for a certain song tone and somebody has already uploaded what they think that tone sounds like. All thanks to the App and the Spark amp products work so well with it.
Great product.

Incredible multi purpose amp
This amp is brilliant value and has a tonne of exceptional features like the tone cloud (search and download specific tone presets other users have uploaded), the beta AI tone generator (just type in the tone you want and you will get 4 tones in about 10 seconds) and the ability to play along to drum loops. There are many more standout features. The phone app makes creating custom tones a breeze and is highly intuitive. I use my spark mainly for jamming and home recording (comes with supplied cable to link straight to your laptop and no driver downloads needed for mac). This mk 2 version has 50w output making it also highly usable for smaller gigs. In short this is an exceptional modelling amp at a very competitive price. Highly recommended!

Amazing value for amazing sound
This is one hell of an amp with limitless capacity. You can make amazing sound with it via the amp, and with a price that does not break the bank.
Definitely the ultimate practice amp, and I do think it can make a very decent live amp with the speaker, though I have not tried it.
If you play a lot at home with backing tracks and so on, I suggest getting the entire pack, with the battery (gives you freedom) and the footswitch (and the bag if you wish), or pick those up later. A must buy, unless you already have really expensive equipment, or something.

Fantastic!
This is such a great piece of gear that inspires you to play more. Great Bluetooth speaker for music in the house, and an incredible practice amp full of great tones.
Personally, I feel there is too much low-end, and there is no global EQ to address it. BUT, you can pry the front cover, and stick a sock into both bass reflex ports, and the tone is much more balanced.

Good Shit
Sure it's not a tube device, it perfect for home practicing, jamming, small gigs on jam tracks or busking, synced with footswitch, acumulator, bag, app, everything, recording output, the small issue when recording, but that is not related to this product, I'd like to insert Spark as an input and use my Genelecs as monitors connected to Focusrite but Cubase can not use two different usb interfaces one on the input, other for output, but that's as everybody's doing, so I don't care about it, but in future would be nice to solve such, but that's more to, I don't know either Windows or Cubase

Incredible, beautiful. Motivates to play.
This is the most astonishing piece of music technology I have ever witnessed. My electric guitar was gathering dust in the garage for 10 years. But once i tried this, i had to fix my guitar's electrical problems finally. This piece of technology motivates to play and learn. It all sounds great. PS. I sold my pedalboard. I don't need it anymore.
