Band loves it

Bought this as a gift. The musician and his band loved it at first sight. They thought it was over the top to have a branded cowbell beater, but the quality and it having two sides with different timbres has made it part of their standard kit when performing.

Der ausgeliehene Drummerstick ist bei schönen Schlägen auf die Cowbell-Kante nach spätestens 10 Songs durch. Da liegt der Cowbellbeater von Pearl schon besser in der Hand; aber wer hier tropisches Hartholz erwartet wird enttäuscht, denn auch hier fliegen bei zu kräftigem Gebrauch die Späne. Gut für Acoustik-Sessions ist das Gummi-Pad, welches die Ohren der geneigten Zuhörer schont.

-Une batte pour ma bongo bell, en complément de la Meinl cow1(sans gomme).
-La gomme que d'un côté, bien collée dans un espace creusé, on peut vraiment choisir deux sons pour la bouche et la tranche de la bongo bell, un peu plus facilement j'imagine qu'avec la meinl cow2, vu le concept.
-longeur 25,5cm, plus courte que la meinl cow1 (28cm).
le pouce et l'index ne sont pas sur les stries du coup sur la Pearl, mais la prise en main est tout de même bonne.
-elle me paraît résistante pour le moment.
-je conseille cet achat.

zu weiches Holz, Gumilippe fällt bei großer Beanspruchung ab

Hatte mir viel versprochen von dem Cowbellbeater von Pearl. Die Funktion mit der Gummidämpfung an einer Seite schien mir genial. Leider hält der Beater nicht, was er verspricht: Das Holz ist zu weich und raspelt sich in enormer Geschwindigkeit an der Cowbell ab. Und die Gummilippe hat er leider auch recht bald verloren. Der Sound war wirklich schön, aber das ist ja kein Trost, wenn das Glück von kurzer Dauer ist und der Beater richtige Beanspruchung nicht aushält.
