I love and have mainly played Otto Links, but they are seldom as good as they should be. The finishing is almost never as good as you'd want. Which makes them always a bit of a challenge to play and not as reed friendly as other mouthpieces.
These "vintage" one's are not part of the new and improved range that is launching as I write this, however, this mouthpiece exceeded my expectations in every way. It seals perfectly, is symmetrical and the tip and rails are beautifully finished.
Whilst I was hoping for that, I was not expecting it! It plays really well, like a brighter and slightly louder "Tone Edge". Online is perhaps the way to go with Links!?
