The Neutrik MFD is designed to make fitting any of the 'D' range of connectors to a panel far less fiddly.
It has 2xM3 threaded holes, meaning that you only need 2xM3 countersunk screws to fit your connector, so no more trying to hold a nut in place behind the panel.
