Amazing sound-- exactly like to believe a true wood block should sound

Great Meinl quality and it does sound like a true wood block with that "thonk" sound that all drummers are familiar with. if you are seeking a solid well made instrument with a real wood block sound then look no further - this is it, very pleased and it fits my bands "unplugged" arrangement perfectly
