HPL anstatt echtes Holz, Richtlite anstatt Ebenholz, Hals aus Birke? Die specs lesen sich für einen Holzpuristen, wie das wahre Grausen. Ich habe den Versuch gewagt und wurde nicht Enttäuscht, der Klang ist genau das, was ich gesucht habe: Warm, definiert und ausgewogen, ohne störende metallische Obertöne, manche würden ihn als zu komprimiert und leblos bezeichnen. Das ändert sich aber komplett, wenn man die Gitarre an den Akustik Amp anschließt, hier dynamisch, kraftvoll, toller Bass. Absolut bühnentauglich. Die Verarbeitung ist vorbildlich, das mitgelieferte soft case klasse. Genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Für mich ist die günstigste Martin ein Volltreffer und mein Exemplar ist sogar schöner, als das Instrument auf den Produktfotos.
