Amazing quality at an affordable price
I recently picked up the Sire Marcus Miller V7 New Gen in Natural, and to say I am impressed would be an understatement. Right out of the box, this instrument punched way above its weight class.
The Natural finish (like the one that Marcus Miller plays) paired with the wood grain looks breathtaking. It genuinely looks and feels like a custom-shop bass costing three to four times its price tag.
I tested it thoroughly with a digital tuner, and the intonation is pinpoint accurate all the way up the neck—perfect on every single fret.
The setup out of the box is superb. You can achieve a comfortable, low action with absolutely zero fret buzz.
The Sire V7 New Gen proves you don't need to break the bank to get a professional-grade, stage-ready instrument. Whether you're playing tight grooves or slapping, it delivers both visually and sonically. Highly recommended!

Great bass for this price
Bass looks great, feels comfortable to play, and most importantly, it sounds fantastic. The active/passive mode and EQ give you plenty of flexibility.
The overall build quality is very good, but the control knobs are the weakest part of the instrument. The stacked (double) knobs feel a bit cheap compared to the rest of the bass and could be made from higher-quality materials.
This is an outstanding bass that offers incredible value for the money. Aside from the minor issue with the knobs, I have no complaints.

Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Ich (Gitarrist) war auf der Suche nach einem Bass für mein Homestudio. Also auf zum Thomann:)
Ich habe ein paar Bässe von Sire dort angespielt und der V7 New Gen hat nochmal zu seinen Vorgängermodellen klanglich deutlich zugelegt. Die Active/Passiv Schaltung mit den EQ-Einstellungen lassen viel Flexibilität zu.
Der Bass ist sehr gut verarbeitet und fühlt sich sehr stimmig an.
Nur die Potis könnten etwas robuster sein.
Für den Preis ist es schwer, was besseres zu finden.
Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!
