ne conviendra pas au tirant des Tycoon Signature Héritage

-Protection pour éviter les chocs entre les congas, à installer sur les tirants.
-Je les ai installé sur des congas cubaines aux tirants de 8mm, parfait. L'esthétique est plus discrète que les produits équivalents chez Tycoon et Meinl. Stable, efficace et la gomme paraît bien fixée.
-Par contre sur les congas Tycoon aux tirants de 9,5 mm (site tycoon: 3/8" diameter tuning lugs = 0,95cm, c'est que je mesure aussi), il faut agrandir le trou avec une perçeuse (mèche de 10). En plus de cela, la pièce en forme de U est trop large sur mes Tycoon (signature heritage), il faut limer l'intérieur de la pièce (il faut avoir le bon outil..)
-Pour ceux qui ne veulent pas s'embêter, Meinl a 2 produits différents, pour tirants de 8mm ou 10mm, mais l'esthétique est différente et il faut les bouger pour bien accéder à l'écrou d'accordage..

Der beste Schutz für Congas

Ich spiele meine Congas im Sitzen und hatte früher immer das Problem, das der Korpus durch die Spannhaken verkratzte und das sogar teilweise tiefe Macken verursacht wurden. Die PROCARE SHELL PROTECTORS verhindern wirksam Beschädigungen im Lack. Sie sind für Spannhaken von 8 mm Große geigenet und passen auf alle Congamodelle von Latin Percussion(außer Aspire und Galaxy Modelle).

Die PROCARE SHELL PROTECTORS werten die Congas sowohl optisch als auch vom Handling her auf. Die Metallringe sind so massiv, das sie sich beim Stimmen der Congas nicht verbiegen. Der Kunstoffring ist am Metall fest verbunden und hat sich im Alltagsgebrauch noch nie gelöst.

Schützt unauffällig und verunziert nicht die Spannböcke der Congas. Nicht für alle Congas geeignet.

Die Protektoren sind aufgrund Ihrer dezenten Ausführung und gut durchdachten Konstruktion für die meisten Congas bestens geeignet.

Allerdings kann man sie bei Congas, bei denen die Spannhaken weit nach außen abstehen nicht gebrauchen. Das kann bei Instrumenten der Fall sein, wenn das Fell schon weit herunter gezogen wurde. Auch für viele MEINL Congas, wie etwa die Mongo Santamaria Serie, mit den etwas weiter oben beginnenden Bäuchen sind diese Protektoren nicht ausreichend dick. Da muss man dann auf die Meinl Conga Saver zurück greifen. Diese schwarzen „Klopper“ sind optisch leider etwas voluminös und decken zu viel von den schönen Spannböcken an der Trommel ab.
Für LP Congas und vergleichbare sind diese Saver eine sehr gute Wahl.
