Great feel, lacking low B string
I felt eager to try these strings after finding out LaBella made them. Rounds with a flat touch, what more could one want? Well...that would become apparent quite quickly. After putting these strings on my US made G&L L2500 I immediately noticed that the B string missed all the "zing" that was present in the other strings. All lower strings, E, A, D, G sound great with that recognizable steel deepness and zzzzing. But not the B string. The lowness is there no doubt but no zing at all. The string therefore sounds radically different than the others.
So I would definitely recommend this set for 4 string basses, but not for a fiver. I am extremely disappointed. But that's my fault because my hopes were high.

Good but...
I play flats and i wanted more of a roundwound sound and no finger noise.
With this strings i still got finger noise.
Less than with roundwounds but still to much for me.
So i went back to flats.
Dont get me wrong.
Quality and sound is great.
B string tight and with a lot of sustain.
I recomend this strings to roundwound lovers to try something different.
Only bad thing is that i must bought isopropil alcohol to clean the strings from wax that is used to cover silk on end of the strings.
