After using this stool extensively for classical double bass practice, I can say it offers an impressive balance of stability, comfort and professional build quality. It’s a reliable tool that genuinely improves posture and endurance during long sessions.

Comfort & Ergonomics: The seat is firm yet comfortable, providing proper support without sinking. Height adjustment is smooth and precise, making it easy to find the ideal playing position. For upright bass, it promotes a natural posture and reduces fatigue.

Footrest: The only small downside for me is that the footrest supports are a bit short for my personal preference. I like my left foot slightly higher and out towards left, so I use a yoga block to achieve the my ideal position. Adjusting the footrest requires the included key, which is not a major issue but worth noting.

Portability: Despite its sturdiness, the stool folds easily and is practical to transport. It doesn’t take up much space and feels like a professional, dependable piece of equipment.
