Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-2AC Pro Modular

I have bought a lot of guitar stuff. From flashy reverbs and delays to OD's, Phasers, wah's you name it. But this thing is one of those things that are just so good and affordable, that I get a big smile on my face whenever I see or think of it. It's silent, has an insane amount of juice, voltage options, modular (which is a very important aspect since I bought this one and 3 ISO-1AC Pro Modulars to power 20 pedals) and it's build like a tank. Also it's a switchmode power supply so you can use it anywhere. You don't get any spare cables but the ones they included feel solid enough to last a very long time. The plugs are also a relatively small form factor. All in all, just get this.

Been sceptical because of the price and mixed opinions about previous line of power plant. Price sometimes tells you the story if you know what I mean. First the service was amazing. Delivery faster than expected (Germany to UK).
The PowerPlant ISO-2AC Pro Modular I bought is just great. I have Deja Vibe that seems to be picky regarding powering. Didn't work properly on Voltage Doubler nor separate 18V Power Supply I bought (UK plug I needed). Deja works great on its original Fulltone power supply (US plug so not practical in UK) and...it works great on this HB Power Plant! My old RAT2 doesn't like much daisy chain and JHS Bender is really noisy when not on fully isolated supply. Now they both quiet and work as they should.
Overall I can only recommend this power plant. Previously had one that cost me almost 3x more. Very known company and it wasn't as good.
If I'll need more power slots I'll definitely buy another modular unit so I can expand.
Remember: it's coming with European kettle lead so if you're in the UK (like me) you just need to find any spare UK plug kettle/computer power lead-will do the job.

I bought this mostly for home recording with a small amount of live work and wanted to get away from 9V batteries. First impressions on unboxing is that the unit is a very solid metal build and would likely stand up to the rigours of live music use. Five outlets are supplied, three are switchable between 9/12V and two can switch between 9/18V making the unit very versatile. Green LEDs indicate the unit is operational taking the guesswork out of things when you first power up. Connections are positive outer and that works with all the effects I have, supplied cables are straight on one end and right angled on the other making them versatile. The outputs are isolated which prevents ground loops between effects, and I couldn't detect any extra noise over and above battery use. There's a kettle lead input and an output which is intended to daisy chain to another unit if you need more than 5 outlets. A short daisy chain mains cable is provided for this purpose. Pros: Solid build, LEDs to indicate working, daisy chain ability. Cons: nothing to note, maybe some stick on rubber feet would stop it moving on polished floors.
