perfect for tremolo equipped guitars - cheap and functional
I play strats so i need to reduce any friction and improve tuning stability with tremolo use.
Although the wheels rotate, there isn?t any bearing system so a lubricant is needed to improve performance. Not on the strings but between the shaft of the wheels and the base. I use nut sauce or hair pomade (!) for the extra mojo. I think that it?s a bit taller than a traditional string tree, making the angle at nut smoother. This helps if you use the tremolo a lot.
It looks a little bulky and the finish is not perfect, but for me it?s fine.
A fine useful product. Highly recommended.

Nice string tree, but screws...
The screws that come with this string tree are made of soft-ish metal, it's hard to screw them down properly. I bought a pair of these, and while one of them sits perfectly, the other one I could not screw down - the screw head was just destroyed in process.
The string tree itself works perfectly, especially after lubing.

Not as big as i thought, luckly!
The quality is better than that i thought. I really wish i could place some pictures on thomann to show you all! The surface is really smooth and better on the pictures. The roller goes smoothly and keeps stable. For some guitars the screw might me a bit too tall, be sure to measure the thickness of your headstock otherwise the screw will go right through! For the people who need the measurements: the screw is 1,5 cm the string roller is 1,2 cm in total. I would recommend this string roller as an great upgrade! It keeps your strings much more in tone than a average string pusher and its not as big as i thought. I also heard from friends who used this roller, that its great for tremelos too, but thats up to you all to find out!
Pros
Smooth
Good measurements
Rolls fine
Good tonation
Keeps in place
Can be placed anywhere where needed
Cons
Screw might be a bit too tall
In short: stable, smooth, good string roller from a well known brand Göldo. Would recommend this for anyone who wants something special on their guitar or simply better quality.

Too high for my 2020 MIM Fender Player strat
it's engineered ok and the price is good, but it's way too high and has no effect in changing the angle of the string.

Good replacement part
I replaced the stock string retainer/tree on my squire strat with this, and it looks nice and seems to to the job very well. Compared to the HB-brand product that is slightly cheaper, this looks a little bit nicer in the finish and also includes a screw, otherwise I can detect no real difference between them.

This is what you need on your Strat!
If you have tunning stability problems when using your vibrato bar on your strat you need this, and a good lubed nut. There is no piece of gear that is going to make your guitar better for a cheaper price.

does the job
I've installed in in my Harley Benton ST62.
It is overall good and does the job - improved stabiliry and removed rusted trees that came with my guitar.
It is very good quality, and good looking, good size and goood price.
But, I would suggest to manufacturer to be some choice in roller height, I would like to have one taller and one smaller roller on my guitar. That is how I would like it, not necessary that it is correct.
Also, rollers on the tree are connectet, it would be great if they are indepent one from another so the string can move on micro level independetly.
All in all, nice thing cosmeticaly.

Dew it
You only have to look at roller string trees to see that they make more sense than the stiff ones. Less friction means better tuning stability, and that's just science. Cheap and effective
