Ordered two, one crackled.
CTS pots used to be my favourite choice but recently I've had several problems with brand new CTS pots. Too many failures to just be a case of bad luck. This time I only ordered two and one of them crackled and had a dropout near the end of travel. I cleaned it thoroughly and only a very slight crackle remains. I guess it works but with this level of quality I might as well have gotten some cheaper pots instead.

Don’t scrimp on the small parts!!
Excellent quality that don’t cost a lot more than cheaper parts! So why risk degrading your tone. I replace all non CTS pots as soon as I buy gear! Gives me years of service and comfort of mind that it’s not going to fail!

Super Pot
The best for single-coils, nice action, not soft - not hard. Sound is full without scratches / jumps in volume

Will buy/use again
Very happy with this pot. I bought two of them and measured the dc resistance - both were within 10% of 250k so I am happy with that.
The feel of the rotation of these pots is nice. Not stiff and not loose.

You can never go wrong with CTS!
I've had DiMarzio pots, maybe they were also CTS when you flip them over, can't remember, but they definitely had a different feel. Allparts CTS pots have the right amount of friction for me. Dimarzio ones were just too easy to turn.

I have quite a few of these as they are one of the best companies for potentiometers as well, I play around with the potentiometers all the time because I have a lot of bulbs, I have never had a noise when changing the volume, I prefer them for several years

Quality seems perfectly acceptable but I'm not happy.
The threaded part of the shaft is longer than needed for mounting on a pickguard so your volume knob is too high off the pickguard. I had to use 3 washers to lower it.
In use it's too stiff, stiff enough that I don't like it. Messes with volume swells. I'll keep it as a spare for clients or students but it's coming off my guitar.

Perfect feel, perfect sound.
Works better than all the installed pots on my guitars, is smoother, doesn't wear out and has a clearer signal to my ears.

Excellent quality, as advertised. Used it in my custom build. Smooth and easy to solder. Will buy again for future builds.
