Greatest Cymbal Boom Arm
Got two of these boom arms for my cymbal set as it grew during the last months. I have always been a bit sceptic regarding boom arms (always preferred stands) but I wanted to give these a go.
I absolutely do not regret buying them! Stable and the quality is impressive! Thought I would have had more problems with installing them and stability but instead I had absolutely no problem. Installed them, placed the cymbal and I was ready to go!

Ideal space saver
As I play standing up I am already saving space but once I start adding cymbal stands that space is gone. I found this arm whilst purchasing other equipment and though 'what a brilliant idea' and bought one. The space saved is brilliant. It clamps firmly enough to use with a ride or crash cymbal and there is more than enough adjustment to position them where I need.

Heavy duty
Gibraltar only makes heavy duty products! This cymbal arm is really sturdy and will stay in position when banging on it. I use it for my splash cymbal and it does the trick.
It's sometimes harder to loosen the screws if needed, but it will definitely not move! And probably will never break!

Very sturdy and stable
This arm is very well made, feels very sturdy, doesn't move when squeezed tight enough and you just can't beat the price. So far I've only used it for mounting spash cymbals (works awesome) and I'm thinking of using it for regular cymbals in order to save space and the amount of stands I need (don't need) to carry around.

Great arm with a subpar clamp
I'll start with the things that bother me, well there's only one - the clamp that attaches this to another stand. It's quite sturdy, but for me the speed at which the clamp can be taken off and/or put on is important, and this thing takes a while to put on a stand in comparison to a Tama multiclamp I've used in the past.
That said, everything else has been really great, highly recommended for those who don't need to move this on and off cymbal stands all the time!

Very good stand that fits on my Traps rack perfectly. The mechanism for holding the actual arm is a little stiff but for the price it is perfect for what i use it for 18" Crash

Perfect to my splash
This addition is perfect for my 8" splash. I have it right next to my hihat stand and it holds without moving or sliding. I've really enjoyed having this little extra piece on my kit.

It's great for what it is
The boom arm could have been a little longer for more versatility but I'm just nitpicking. The build quality is alright but nothing special. A great product overall that helps you keep your setup from wasting any space

Does what it says
I'm pretty impressed so far with the Gibraltar range - they are a cheaper option so I tend to use them for the smaller bits and pieces of kit - and this is a perfect example. The clamp works fine and the cymbla arm, felts and accessories are of good quality. I like the 'quick release' notch on the clamp especially. I would imagine if you are going out on tor playing heavy rock each and every night there is a chance this would not last the year out,but for 'normal' levels of play it does what it should for a good price.

Worthy solution to space issues
I ran out of space for clamps on my e-drum rack and discovered this alternative (and very affordable as compared to the Roland solutions) solution to mount my cymbals.
There are no cross-talk issues with the other electronic cymbals and pads and the grabber is sturdy to hold enough weight.
Should I need more cymbals, I'm definitely getting more of these!
