It's a rack but a lot less hassle
Although racks always appealed to me unless you are famous enough that someone else builds your drum kit every night they are a pain in the unterseite. The stealth rack is marketed as a rack for people who don't like racks. Really it shoud be marketed as a rack for people who don't like tripod stands all over the floor and don't like spending hours setting up and dismantling your kit. That's me. I love this rack because it allows me to put my snare basket in one end ( I can leave the legs at home ) and on the other end I can mount toms and a cymbal arm - so 3 stands gone already. It is super sturdy, easy to set up and you'll know that your gear is in exactly the same place every time. I like the fact the that snare basket end has a narrower foot meaning more space for my double pedal and hi hat stand. I also like the fact that the connecting tube is deliberately bent so that it will accommodate the connecting rod of your double kick pedal. I also like the fact that it is practically invisible so people don't know you are using a rack and won't despise you as much ( just kidding Terry Bozzio) . I also like the fact that gibraltar give away 3 different sizes of plastic inserts so that it will accommodate multiple tube sizes from different manufacturers. My yamaha stuff all works fine. All in all a very clever piece of kit that takes up minimal floor space and minimal space in your hardware case but is as sturdy as a rock. If you are thinking of getting one - you won't be dissappointed.

gibraltar stealth GSVMS
Of all the stealth stuff this is the BEST. It locks your snare and rack tom or toms together in such a way they they will not move and you have loads more room for your double pedals/double kick drums/handbag. And it's all low profile so all you see are your beautiful drums you have paid a fortune for and possibly just polished to gleaming perfection.

Excellent product
I bought this to use with a double tom mount, 2 cymbal booms and a Millenium snare basket I already had. The rack comes with adaptor sleeves for just about any size of tubing you might have so everything fit perfectly and everything is solid as a rock once assembled. Setup & teardown is quick and easy and correct positioning can be achieved every time.

It does exactly what I wanted - cuts down on the footpring of the stands on the floor and helps to maintain the tom and snare positioning extremely consistent.
Since those are the reasons for my purchase if the item, I can't give anything less than full marks.

Awesome!
I bought this along with the Stealth Side Mount and couldn't be more impressed.
Fantastic quality, easy to put together, loads of adjustment, and less weight in my hardware case.
I have my snare, 10 and 12 inch toms and 16 and 17 inch cymbals all hanging off this and it doesn't move a muscle!

perfection rack
Really stunned with these little racks!
I'm using this particular one for 10&12 inch tom-toms, and a snare, but i could easily add 2 splashes if i'd want to.
Currently it's used for a kit with 1 bass drum, but i normally make advantage of it in between 2 kicks. That way i don't have to use 3 stands (1 tomtom, 1 snare, 1 or 2 cymbal stands).
I've got to admit i'm a fan of gibraltar hardware, especially the racks and the boomarms!
I'm having this rack for 2 years now, and i've never had any problem with it! i only changed one thing: I replaced the front straight bar with a curved one to get a chopper look out of it. It's really easy to do, and it looks great!

Does as advertised.
It does everything it promises.
It's more compact than seperate stands, almost as stable as a full rack but doesn't dominate the look of your kit.

Amazing
I've got my snare, sample pad, and two cymbals on this rig.
4 tripods replaced by 3+1/2 feet and a crossbar. What you can see of it looks astounding, but it's also pretty minimal and wont get in the way of you're beautiful kit.
Very rugged and easy to setup, even easier with memory locks.

Har kört på denna i över ett år nu och är inte annat än helnöjd.
Enkelt och smidigt att sätta upp. Virveln står äntligen stabilt på samma plats vilket varit ett problem tidigare.

VERSATILE, STEADY & EASY TO USE
Over a few years I have collected a fair amount of Gibraltar Rack Hardware and this is one of several from Thomann.
I only found Gibraltar a few years ago and became hooked after the first couple of purchases. Great quality - strong and sturdy - very reliable and versatile and easy to assemble and break down with their range of proper clamps. So easy to expand when you need to and for quality and value it offers a first rate option. Have found this one exceptionally useful.
