Very good shoulder rest!

Shoulder rests are very personal, so I'm reviewing my experience. I am quite skinny on my shoulders and I have a medium-sized neck. Finally, I think I found the shoulder rest I was looking for.

First, it is possible to adjust the feet length even if you want them really long. Plus, the distance among them can be adjusted within a wide range of possibilities because there's a screw mechanism.

Secondly, thanks to the high-quality materials the base is made, it is possible to bend it with a bit of strength in order to have the needed curvature. This one has a base in metal and memory foam. The metal part allows you to bend it if you apply enough strength, and then you can curve it to fit your anatomy.

In conclusion, this product really worked for me, and I think that, given the fact that can be really customized, it can work for a lot of people.

A worlds difference

A no-brainer for violin playing since it makes it so much more comfortable. I am a beginner and I was struggling to keep the violin secure so it made my left arm very stiff which was not ideal. looking online this was recommended and oh my what a difference. It's very adjustable to different heights and widths, has soft rubber feet that secure safely to the instrument and don't scratch it. Build also looks sturdy and durable. Quality is obviously great

Slips off all the time

The feet screw into place so they are susceptible to being twisted out of position quite easily, also the feet easily pop off my violin, often while I'm adjusting it's position on my shoulder.

The Wolf Forte Secondo remains a classic for a reason. I bought this for my violin (4/4 size) and it has been a game-changer for my playing posture.

The main reason I chose this model is the bendable aluminum backing, which allows you to custom-mold the shape to fit your shoulder perfectly. This piece is well made out of metal. It is adjustable and the padded part is highly bendable (by using pliers) to fit the body. The price is also competitive. If you need a very customizable shoulder rest,this might work for you.

I didn't find it useful for me since I tried so many times to readjust but it hurts my shoulder and I find it too short. It's a no for me
