The Wittner Stand Shelf Extender fits over the ?shelf? of your music stand to provide a broader platform on which you can place a number of pieces of music or an i-pad, in addition to pencils, rubbers, capo or bow. It won?t fit over stands that have things attached to the ?shelf? already so check your stand first.

Used as the stand needs to hold a fairly substantial music folder and keeps the music on the stand well. Easy to fit. The only downside is that it is fairly brittle which can result in snapping if dropped on a hard floor.
