Easily on par with any other jaw harp I've ever tried
As a kid I used to love making noise - especially in interesting ways, like hitting different tubes or bottles with spoons or sticks, drumming on everything I could find, trumpeting through rolled up papers and so on.
I was very happy when I got a jaw harp and it made really cool sounds using a piece of metal and my mouth. Later in life this led to an enthusiasm for all kinds of overtone instruments and sounds, but as a kid I did not understand all that. I only understood that it made a cool noise, and that made me happy!
This jaw harp is a very good beginner's instrument, it is not overly fragile and has a good tone with decent sustain. It is a bit difficult to get a clean note out of, but then again - if you are just learning the ropes this is easily good enough!

Not very good
This is not a good Jaw Harp. Seems more like a souvenir or a toy. Absolutely not enjoyable to play.
You can add simply 10-12 eur more to the price and get another one from thomann also that sounds much, much better.
This is specially important if it is your first jaw harp because you might get disappointed and think jaw harps produce bad sound. Try a good one and you will see the difference.

Really funny instrument. Easy to learn after 2 or 3 videos. I prefer as big as possible. Smaller are harder to hold and don't have as many different sounds as bigger.

harder to get your teeth round
Being a smaller diameter than the nos 8-14 I found the no 6 a bit harder to play. It has a higher pitch as well. Once you get the hang of it it does work.

I have ordered this Jew's Harp to play it by myself but 55mm is to tiny
for a real man, so i give it to my kids, and the play it very well. easy to learn. Next time i will bye a bigger one.
