Freeway Switch 3X3-08 Nickel Black & Cream

I bought this switch to have more possibilities for a Tele style guitar. It's pre-wired to allow the normal three pickup selections, plus both pickups in series in phase; in series out of phase; and in parallel out of phase. I followed the instructions to make the out of phase positions 'half out of phase' by using the suggested capacitor. The parallel version of this sounds very similar to Strat positions 2 and 4, the series version sounds like a half-cocked wah on the lower notes.

Overall, very useful and simple to wire in if you know how to use a soldering iron.

Works brilliantly. I was worried that the switch might be delicate, but it seems very solidly built. Gives lots of switching options without modifying the stock look of the guitar. There is plenty of length in the wiring which makes it much easier to fit. I was able to run the main, grey bundle of wire from a cavity on the upper bout of my guitar, through the pickup cavities, to the control cavity.
