Beautiful Ukulele, needs different strings

This ukulele is abosolutely beautiful to look at. When it arrived, it had a buz on the c string, but changing to martin m600 strings fixed that problem. With the new strings, it has a lovely sound, much nicer than you would expect from a fully plastic instrument, and it seems like it should be pretty indestructible.

Eigentlich spiele ich höherpreisige Ukulelen, darum ist ein Vergleich für mich schwierig, aber ich werde sie zum Wandern mit auf den Berg nehmen und dafür scheint sie mir gut geeignet. Sie macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck, ist leicht und gut handhabbar. Der Sound ist dem Preis angemessen. Für die typischen Lieder auf der Hütte sicherlich voll ausreichend. Barock-Stücke habe ich nicht vor damit zu spielen.
Ich habe noch einen zweiten Gurtknopf am Halsende zum Korpus angebracht. Hatte vorher bei Thomann angerufen und die sagten, dass dies wohl klappen müsste. Es hat geklappt, trotzdem: Carbon ist kein Holz! Das Bohrloch war erst zu eng (bei Holz wäre dies kein Problem gewesen) die zweite Bohrung sicherlich ein 10el Millimeter zu groß. Sekundenkleber war da sehr hilfreich, so dass es gut hält.
