I have these pots with a high output (passive) Seymour Duncan pickup and they are very responsive. It really enhances the sound at every turn and I may well use these on future guitar projects as standard. I tend to use more allen key fitted knobs than push fit, though did try a spare and it was fine.
No concerns with build quality - 1. Because Fender know better than to pass off shoddy equipment. & 2. They feel well made and after two months of use show no signs of wear. I'll get to see how they feel on stage in a few weeks!
Do bear in mind that these are larger than some cheap Chinese pots and a bit of filing may be required to get them to fit correctly.

A little hard but easy to loosen
I mounted this pot on my 1986 japanese strat.
I had to enlarge the hole in the pickguard a bit because at that time the holes were smaller, I also needed to add one extra nut on the back side of the pickguard to set it at the right height, otherwise the volume pot would stick out too much.
The poti is quite stiff, a lot more than I like, but it's easily fixed with a drop of wd-40 through the little hole on the side of the metal housing.
As far as sound is concerned it's all good.

it is essential to have good potentiometers
The final sound depends on many factors, it is essential to have good potentiometers to have a good guitar sound, in the sound chain having bad electronics can mean worse sound, although you have good microphones or good amplifiers.
with these potentiometers I hear less noise, besides that the sound quality has improved, I listen more highs and more Lows than I did before

I used three poti like this to rebuilt my inherited Strato-type clone guitar. I kept the original pickups (those are true vintage parts with yellowish tone on the plastic parts, sooo old...) but because of the new original Fender potis, all the sound quality, tone, warmth, etc. changed a lot! Clearly more rich in tone, much more levels and variations with overdrive, so totally new guitar!

Simplicity is best
I've ordered this 500K pot for my Tele relic project. Built quality is very good and I was using it for a good while without any problem. It's made with DIY in mind so it's easy to install. Built quality is very good and standard Squire barrel knob will fit on to it without a problem. Don't be mistaken by the price, although it's cheap it's still a great product with Fender quality.

Low quality
It is not smooth at all. Furthermore, in my case it does not cut sound off. I guess I was just unlucky to get a non-working one.
Nevertheless, if you decide to buy, be aware that it is more thick that normal pots, it will definitely not feet you ibanez RG. To installed in my stratocaster I had to increase a hole in the pick-guard.

Awesome pots!
It's not the first time I buy those pots, it's definitely not gonna be the last. I've had wonderful experience with them, and I have never a single problem with them, not one single defecting pot. These pots are money in the bank

A quality potentiometer
Bought it as a replacement for my Squier P-bass special bass. Works perfectly, no hum or scratching while turning it, easy to install, all in all I'm very satisfied.
The only problem I encountered was that it was a bit too big for the Squier's default cavity, so the cavity had to be enlarged, but that was no big deal.
