Excellent locking tuners
I've installed them on a 2021 MIM strat. Had minor tuning stability issues with the original ones, but most important, there were some annoying intonation problems. Must mention that at the same time I installed Highwood 10.5 saddles. I cannot say if it's the locking tuners or the new saddles alone that make the difference. I just can say that now there is no problem at all, the guitar sounds and play lovely! Highly recommended, grate upgrade, and great Thomann services as always.

Not great, as expected from a big brand
Every new Fender I buy without locking tuners (almost all of them), this is the first thing I get, before the instrument even arrives.
Fenders have a really bad tuning stability to start with, and this helps, to an extent.
These tuners feel too slow to wind up and eager to downtune.
It is not as extreme as Fender´s 1990es tuners with being super slow, but it´s up there.
Most of the value in this is the logo on the back, as most Fender fans are terrified of changing anything, even if it is their own instrument.
The tuners are somewhere in between 2025 chinese locking slop and slightly better than original non locking tuners.
Lots of going back and forth for a perfect tune.
Having said that, I have this on all my Fender guitars.
It helps, and if you play your instruments, you should get at least a set for one of your fenders to see how it performs.
I have 3 strats, all have locking tuners, 2 of them these staggered and the oldest one from 1999 has the original lockaroonies from back then.

An upgrade worth doing on every strat with a tremolo
The shorter pins is a great idea!

absolutely worth it
this is a really fantastic upgrade, if you have the heart to drill into your guitar head if the locking tuners' pins don't fit in the already made holes. once you do this, carefully by yourself, or with the help of technician, your guitar will thank you and you'll thank your guitar :)
i used these locking tuners for my squier mini strat, with great success.

Fit my Jaguar Player (Mexico) perfectly
I always add Fender locking tuners to my Fender guitars.
To confirm - these shorter models fit my Mexican-made Fender Jaguar Player perfectly. Highly recommended for faster string changes.
I suspect the increased string brake angle is a positive - but can't prove it!

Great tuners.
They feel smooth, operate perfectly and hold tune. They’re easy to mount and the short posts give a good string angle on all the strings. I do still use a string tree but you could do without one. Built to last.

Excellent quality tuners
High quality tuning machines, the low profile posts are a plus as it means you don’t necessarily need a string tree to get an adequate break angle behind the nut. Great stability and locking tuners makes string changes a breeze.

Excellent for my Tele
I know these tuner from my Fender Meteora and I used the same for a custom Telecaster. Work perfectly, remains stable on the headstock and stays in tune. They are also slightly heavier than the vintage tuners, which adds a bit more weight to the neck.

Excellent
Excellent tuners. Highly recommend. I specifically got the short post to help with the insufficient break angle over the nut of the limited run Fender Tenor Tele.
