Fender Highway Parlor MAH RW

I cannot explain how much i surprised when i tried this guitar first and I never wrote a review about any guitar that i had before but i have to say this guitar really needs attention.!

To be honest i was a bit skeptical at the beginning because of the body size but this guitar is killing it.
First of all as a comparison; i was using Martin LX1re which is a traveler size guitar but the unplugged sound was more than enough for me. But Highway Parlor is surprisingly louder and cleaner. I`ve changed the strings with 10" Elixir strings i personally feel way more compfy with 10 instead of 11 and it also gave it to the guitar a bit more open sound which i really like.
Second thing i LOVE about this guitar is ; it`s like a combination with electro guitar and an acoustic guitar. The neck is amazingly compfy for me but the body gives u the sound of an acoustic guitar. I am using 65% acoustic guitar and 35% electro guitar with my projects and this guitar is amazingly fitting to what i need.
Fred and body finishing are amazing.
Another thing is when im using it with strap (which im using in that way a lot) it has a great balance. Also EQ and Volume controls are pretty nice touch on the guitar, gives me the feeling of an electro-acoustic guitar but it is not an acoustasonic fender dont get confused.^^

Only downside is!: Battery box on the behind is a bit too big i guess cuz 9v Battery that I bought here (Berlin) was a bit too small so i had to stabilize it with a small piece of paper.

And thanks to thomann it got delivered almost in 1,5 day which is incredible.
This is my favorite guitar right now, I simply cannot stop playing it!

Wenn Sie Fender nicht schon erfunden hätte, müsste man sie glatt erfinden! Warum ist man da nicht schon früher draufgekommen? Eine handliche, ergonomische und sehr gute Akustikgitarre mit einem exzellentem Tonabnehmersystem zu bauen.
Ich komme von der E-Gitarren Ecke und tu mir mit Westerngitarren immer schwer. Einerseits die unhandlichen Bauformen, die Hals-/Griffbrett Profile und dann die harten, dicken Saiten. Aber mit dieser Fender Highway Parlor, da habe auch ich es leicht darauf zu spielen. Ich habe nicht die Gitarre-Spieler Idealfigur und Hände. Ich bin eher klein, etwas korpulent, habe kurze Hände und Finger. Das Spielgefühl ist hier fast wie auf einer Stromgitarre! Die Gitarre liegt in der Hand wie eine Teli oder Paula. Ganz, ganz super! Detto der Klang! Ohne Verstärker überrascht der gute Klang, sowie die doch unerwartete Lautstärke und mit Verstärker die Qualität des Tonabnehmers. Ich bin froh, dass ich sie mir nach einigen Überlegungen doch gekauft habe. Ich habe die original 11er Saiten durch D'Addario XS 10-47er Saiten ersetzt.
PS: nicht zu vergessen; - der mitgelieferte Gig-Bag ist unglaublich! Das ist kein kleiner, billiger "Alibi-Gig-Bag", sondern ein sehr schöner und stabiler, halbfester Gitarrenkoffer! Wie gesagt, ein unglaubliches Teil für einen mitgelieferten Gimmick!
Der Gitarrenbauer meines Vertrauens hat mir nun die Saitenlage gut eingestellt. Sie war im Fabrik-Setup viel zu hoch. Nun lässt sich die Gitarre, auch für mich Stromgitarristen mit 10er Saiten, sehr angenehm spielen.
