Evans 20" Reso BD20RSW Bass Drum

The smooth white film is beautiful but scratches very easily. Thankfully the scratches are not visible from a distance.
The head is quite resonant for a premuffled head and, for my setup, requires a tiny bit of muffling to restrict vibration.
A more important downside is that the porthole has been cut quite low. I cannot insert my bd mic straight in with my k&m bass drum mic stand (which is a very low stand I believe). The mic stand arm sits taller than the hole center, so miking halfway between the heads without touching the reso head with the stand arm is not easy.
