Angefangen habe ich früher mit Remo. Irgendwann habe ich Evans-Felle probiert und werde wohl nie mehr zurück wechseln! Das Coating ist stabiler (und gerade das Frosted coating sieht super aus), die Verarbeitung ist besser (fässt sich im Randbereich irgendwie "weicher" an als die Remos) und klingt (meines Empfindens) besser.

Für Recording-Zwecke dämpfe ich die Felle noch ab, Live allerdings unmodifiziert die perfekte Wahl. Ganz klar: Daumen hoch!

Der Sound ist im Vergleich zu den Standard Remo Fellen gewaltig in allen Belangen. Klarer, voller, in jeder Lautstärke ein perfekter und definierter Ton. Der Unterschied ist besonders bei den größeren Toms (16er, 18er) zu bemerken. Der Dämpfeffekt der Ringe lässt etwas zu wünsche über, habe trotzdem mit "Taschentuch" abgedämpft. Klingt nun supergeil.
Der Einsatz der teuren EC Resonant Felle bringt in meinen Augen keine Verbesserung des Sounds. Die EC2 reichen völlig aus, verwendet weiter eure Standard-Resonanzfelle!
