EMG ACB (Banjo)

I bought this to amplify an open back banjo after struggling with various contact pickups. This product reproduces a really natural sound although I thought it was a touch quiet even with the steel strip attached. The fittings are really well made although I couldn?t use both screws on the mounting bracket as my coordinator rods are too close together to make it work. I suspect there will also be problems fitting for banjos with a dowel stick or one coordinator rod. No feedback and great sound. I?m really pleased with it so far.

Love this. It makes life very easy in comparison to all other pickups I have tried. I can virtually re create the acoustic sound through a standard pa. Well worth the investment

Great banjo pickup! Great tone and works well for gig settings. The only thing to watch out for is that its made for a closed back banjo. I installed it in my open back banjo but had to do some rigging for the output jack because it was made to attache to the side of the closed back banjo.
